All applicants are notified of the admission results by e-mail. The results are sent to the e-mail address given by the applicant in their application form.
Accepting the offered study place
You will receive an email from the university if you are accepted to one of the Master's programmes. To accept the offered study place, you should return the Confirmation Form mailed to you along with the other acceptance documents. If you fail to submit your Confirmation Form to the university by the deadline, your study place in the programme will be cancelled. More information for new students can be found here.
Conditionally accepted students
If you were conditionally accepted to one of our international Master's programmes, you are also required to send (officially translated, if necessary) evidence of your degree certificate and the related final transcript of records to the University by the 31 July 2019. If you fail to submit the documents to the University on time, your study place in the programme will be cancelled.

Request for rectification
According to Chapter 10, Section 82 of the Universities Act (558/2009) and Section 9 of the University of Vaasa Degree Ordinance, an applicant who is dissatisfied with the admission results may lodge a request in writing with the University for a Rectification of the decision concerning admission within 14 days of the day when the admission results were released.
