Keynote -speakers

Marie Leijon

The first keynote speech of the conference, Learning Spaces in Higher Education — It is Time for Space Pedagogy!, will be held by PhD, senior lecturer Marie Leijon. Marie Leijon is senior lecturer in pedagogy at Malmö University. Marie is also an Educational developer at the Centre for Academic Teaching at Malmö University.

She is currently working on two learning space research projects, one about the hybridization of learning spaces by connecting physical and virtual spaces, the other focusing on the combination of formal and informal learning spaces. Marie Leijon has published several peer-reviewed scholarly articles, chapters in monographs, and conference contributions on learning spaces, interaction and learning both in Sweden and internationally.

Katarina Winka

The second keynote speaker of the conference is PhD, senior lecturer Katarina Winka. Katarina Winka is a senior lecturer at the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Umeå University. She has published several peer-reviewed scholarly articles, chapters in monographs, and conference contributions on pedagogical competence in higher education, teaching portfolios and assessment of pedagogical qualifications both in Sweden and internationally.
