Best Paper Award to Christelle Tornikoski

University's former doctoral student and visiting assistant professor in the department of management Christelle Tornikoski’s article was awarded The Best Paper Award at the European Reward Management Conference, RMC 2011. This article titled: The role of perceived employer obligations in the interpretation of - and reaction to - expatriate compensation practices. Article was based on one of her doctoral thesis article that she defended last May at the University of Vaasa.



Nordic Championship in Project Management 2011 for the students of the university

The final round of the Nordic Championship in Project Management 2011 took place on the 23–24th of November in Gothenburg, Sweden during the Nordic Forum in Project Management.

Melinda Benedek, a student on the EPAS-accredited Master’s Degree Programme in International Business, has come runner-up in an international competition organized by The Economist newspaper.
