Tritonia Academic Library serves students and staff at the University of Vaasa, VAMK University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa and Jakobstad, as well as Åbo Akademi University in Vaasa.

Tritonia provides plenty of space for the students to study. There are study desks in the library, some of them with a computer. You can also bring your own laptop. Two reading rooms are available for the students almost 24/7, ask the janitors at Tritonia for a key card. Group study rooms can be booked online in advance. The computer rooms can be used for self-study whenever available.

Tritonia also offers video conference rooms. In total, there are about 700 study spaces at Tritonia.

You can borrow textbooks from the library, as well as scientific literature to support your studies. Most of the library resources, especially journals and reference books, are available online in the Finna search service. You can log on to Finna with your university username also using remote access. The library offers accessibility services for reading disabled students, for example.

The library organizes information literacy education in the autumn and spring terms, as part of the university studies. New library customers can apply for a library card by filling in the online library card form. You can fetch your new library card after three (3) weekdays from the library service desk.
