All applicants are notified of the admission results by e-mail. The results are sent to the e-mail address given by the applicant in their application form.

Accepting the offered study place

You will receive an email from the university if you are accepted to one of the Master's programmes. To confirm the offered study place, you should accept the offer according to the instructions. If you fail to accept the offer by the deadline, your study place in the programme will be cancelled.

Conditionally accepted students

If you are conditionally accepted to one of our international Master's programmes for the 2021 intake, you are also required to finish your current degree and meet the admission criteria by the 31 July 2021, and send  evidence of your degree certificate and the related final transcript of records to the University (official translations as well, if necessary) by the 7 August 2021. If you fail to submit the documents and/or meet the admission criteria to the University on time, your study place in the programme will be cancelled.

Request for rectification

According to Chapter 10, Section 82 of the Universities Act (558/2009) and Section 9 of the University of Vaasa Degree Ordinance, an applicant who is dissatisfied with the admission results may lodge a request in writing with the University for a Rectification of the decision concerning admission within 14 days of the day when the admission results were released.
